Mission complete
Tonight's mission was to target a hound on a difficult local mark whilst testing some new rigs out.
So Willow and I followed the tide out, collecting a few fresh soft crab on the way and presented them on one of my new DSR Dongle Pulley Rigs with a 3/0 Koike circle. (I do like these hooks, wide gape, sharp and strong!)
3rd cast I was into this lovely Smooth-hound that went 8lb. I then got too excited and lost 2 more shortly after both on prawn and both giving similar runs. 😅

Four fish out tonight all falling for the savage V2 sandeel weedless in lemon candy very slow retrieve.
Including this 63cm beast that I was never in control of 🤣 crazy power!
A PB for me, back she went👍🎣
kent Hounds
Congratulations to Paul on catching his first hound! He enticed this healthy 8lb fish at a local spot, utilizing one of our short pulley pennel rigs baited with crab and lug. Well done!
rays in dover
This lovely 9lb thornback ray was taken on one of our pulley rigs baited with bluey. The fish took the bait 2 hours after high water and was an effort to net and return on the Admiralty.
PLAICE AT BRIGHTON
DSR Team member Scott has been on the plaice at Brighton using one of the our prototype plaice flapper rigs. Nice one SP!

Scott tempted this lovely bass on one of our 3/0 Pulley Pennels rigged with a fresh joey mackerel that he had just caught! Top Angling.

"Bassman" Mark founded Danson Tackle Rigs & Traces back in the 90's. Although he has since retired, his passion for angling remains. His main focus is targeting big bass with large baits and is often fearless in his "all or nothing" approach to a session.
